Craft Forward spans three days of programming, focusing on presentations and discussions with speakers who are involved in craft thinking and practice within a variety of disciplines and applications. Recognizing that one of the basic tenets of craft is a full-sensory approach to the making of meaning, the symposium is designed to engage participants experientially, as well as intellectually.

Craft Forward will be held at the Mission Bay Conference Center at the University of California, San Francisco. Additional programming will be held at CCA’s San Francisco and Oakland campuses. Please see detailed daily schedules for room specifics.
